Resources

The web is flooded with references to varying levels of advice for all things health, food, nutrition, cooking, wellness, parenting, fitness etc. A quick search of the term “nutrition” alone produces 1,450,000,000 results in 0.85 seconds. It can certainly feel overwhelming to decide which trusted resources to use to best cater to our needs as well as distinguish fact from fiction.

As a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, Health Coach, mom of two, and someone who loves to read and cook, I have waded my way through my fair share of resources over the years in the way of blogs, books, cookbooks, documentaries, podcasts etc. Take it all in with a grain of salt right?

Remember, while not every blurb you read on a blog will be grounded in evidence based science, and not every new pinterest recipe you try will please your palate, generally speaking there are some amazing resources out there we can all take advantage of to improve our quality of life and health.

Here are a few books I have found useful both personally and professionally and have shared with clients who are looking to gain general nutrition knowledge or for inspiration for new recipes and cooking techniques.
