About Me
Hi, I’m Rosanne Walsh, a board-certified Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with an insurance-based practice in Boston, MA. With over 20 years of experience in nutrition and wellness, I work with clients across the country, at all ages and stages of life to optimize health, prevent disease, and—when possible—reduce reliance on medications.
My approach blends evidence-based nutrition with modern tools that offer real insight into how your body works. I use advanced testing such as GI-MAP microbiome analysis, food sensitivity testing, continuous glucose monitoring, and nutrient analysis to create personalized nutrition and lifestyle plans rooted in data—not guesswork. Alongside lab testing, I provide customized food and supplement recommendations designed to support sustainable, real-life change. My goal is to empower you with clarity, confidence, and practical strategies that support long-term wellness.
My Background & Philosophy
I grew up in a household shaped by Italian-born parents, where food was central to both health and joy. From an early age, I was immersed in a plant-forward, Mediterranean style of eating—a way of life deeply woven into European culture and strongly supported by research today.
I personally follow and advocate for the Mediterranean eating pattern, known for its role in reducing inflammation and chronic disease. Its benefits are evident in the world’s Blue Zones, particularly Sardinia, an island near my father’s birthplace of Sicily.
I completed my dietetics training at Massachusetts General Hospital, bringing a strong clinical foundation to my work. I specialize in metabolic health, including weight loss and insulin resistance, as well as digestive concerns such as IBS, food sensitivities, bloating, and chronic GI discomfort.
